I'll Huff And I'll Puff

At the risk of testicular explosion, I must say the Huffington Post, Ariana Huffington's news site with "celebrity" bloggers, launched like a rocket yesterday spewing orange flames and throwing sand all over the blogosphere. First, great design. Simple, easy on the eyes, and the logo has a little animated guy tipping his hat as if to say, "welcome good people, please enjoy your stay and let me know if you need any help deciphering the wealth of knowledge and insight that is making your head dizzy right now." I don't mean that mockingly. The talent assembled, and more importantly, their ability to deliver the goods (Larry David to his assistant: “No, I’ll suck on my thumb. Yes, get me another cup, you douche bag! And chew on this -- it’s going to cost you a dollar!”) exceeds expectations and makes it the new daily must-read. (Sorry, they make you say things like that.) This is better than the New Yorker and a barrel of James Wolcotts. If it was a print magazine I would buy it...which leads me to one question: how the fuck is Radar gonna top this?
