My Eyes Have Seen The Glory Hole

Mating roaches in bathroom from Ink Stains

Page Six has an item today involving an article in Details about the best bathrooms in NYC for sex. I know a lot about bathrooms, much less about sex, but I do believe this ground was covered in my short-lived Gridskipper career when I posted the crapper coitus question to readers and the answers came whirling back. In the future, I hope Dan Peres thinks twice before publishing something on escort face-offs.

Ode to Red Bull, Brian Battjer, and Bucky Turco

Hey, does anyone want to blog the Jersey Shore with me?

The funny thing is, for once, Krucoff's got the story right.

Lock has shamelessly hi-jacked the idea that I (well, Dennis and our friend Dianne) put forth a year ago.

"Welcome to The Beach, friends, where Hamptons finally meets blog."

That copy is lifted almost directly from Dennis's original proposal. We knew Lock sold us out when he sent around a most-cockass email months ago saying he was no longer interested in Bloghaus™ and found another share to go in on.

"Young Hamptonite" will not take this move submissively and all efforts to sabotage and discredit "The Beach" will be executed venomously and, more so, recklessly.

We're very excited to announce the launch of THE BEACH [http://beach.curbed.com], where Hamptons finally meets blog. Today through the close of Labor Day weekend The Beach will bring you East End coverage as far as the eye can see, including restaurant and club reports, real estate gossip, local news, grade A people watching, obsessive weather and traffic coverage, and much more...

John Carney is blogging regularly at Dealbreaker. I'm pretty sure that's a good thing.

Boggs en Caballo

While in Florida last week, I briefly donned documentarian queer goggles with Mike Robb of The Farmhands, "baseball's greatest rock band." Catch the result on Deadspin, now and forever.

Where some can lay claim to trademark Photoshop skills, I hope to leave similar skid marks in the field of poorly thought-n-shot video.
